It’s hard to believe that it’s been 16 years since we last saw Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in a Bad Boys movie, but that’s exactly how long it’s been. Mercifully, the long wait for the “threequel” is about to end now that the trailer for the third movie in the franchise, Bad Boys For Life, has finally dropped.
It’s a typical Bad Boys film in that there’s plenty of action, explosives, dry humor, and Smith and Lawrence busting on each other. Oh, and there’s a 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S in the movie, too. It’s a nice callback to the original Bad Boys movie from 1995, though I suspect some people aren’t old enough to remember that movie. Bad Boys isn’t the Fast & Furious, but for those who are old enough to remember Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s first movie together, you’ll know that Bad Boys had its fair share of drop-dead gorgeous vehicles. It’s nice to know that almost 25 years since that first movie hit the theaters, that formula hasn’t changed, even if Lawrence’s physique has.

The 2020 Lamborghini Sian is a hybrid supercar that the Italian firm unveiled ahead of the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show. Powered by a V-12 gasoline engine and an electric motor, the Sian is Lambo’s first mass-produced hybrid. However, the supercar is limited to only 63 units, so it’s actually a preview of things to come, like an electrified successor to the Aventador.
Design-wise, the Sian stands on its own by combining a new design language with styling cues inspired by the iconic Lamborghini Countach. Its interior, on the other hand, is based on the Aventador’s, albeit it comes with bespoke elements and fancier features. The Sian also showcases innovative technology, like a state-of-the-art energy recuperating system and a supercapacitor instead of a traditional lithium-ion battery. Launched at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show, the Lamborghini Sian ticked a lot of boxes for Sant’Agata Bolognese. It’s the fastest Lambo ever made and also the first hybrid car to wear the raging bull logo, but it won’t pass on its technology to the upcoming Aventador replacement.

20th Century Fox’s upcoming Ford vs. Ferrari movie is shaping up to be a barn burner. The second trailer of the James Mangold-directed film has just dropped, and if you don’t get excited about the movie after watching it, then I don’t know what to tell you. The movie, which stars Matt Damon, Christian Bale, Jon Bernthal, and Catriona Balfe, sheds a unique spotlight on the iconic racing war Ford and Ferrari engaged in back in the 1960s for Le Mans supremacy.
The new trailer dives deep into Ford’s singular focus and motivation to wipe out Ferrari’s dominance in the endurance race after a deal between the two automakers went south in the 11th hour. There’s a lot to unpack with the second trailer, though I’d be remiss if I didn’t say that despite the collective star power in the movie featuring several Hollywood A-listers, the true stars of the trailer are the Ford GT40 and the Ferrari 330 P3.
