Lexus LC 500 Concept Become Reality

October 25, 2017 – by Otar Bezhashvili
Hinted to come to dealerships at the end of 2016, the production version of Lexus stunning concept LC 500 is going to materialize even earlier. The LC was reportedly approved for production in 2013, and though we were told it may resurrect the SC nameplate, Lexus filed copyright for LC 500 and LC 500 H.

As a reminder, the original concept was shown back in 2012 and was called Lexus LF-LC. Coincidentally or not it was the Motor City one more time. Now four years later the car can lose some of its lush, but the camouflaged prototype of the production car that was caught early this fall looked very promising.
Preliminary reports suggest two modifications – V8 engine and hybrid. The former mill should be the 477 horsepower one. And the hybrid will probably consist of 3.5 liter V6 and an electric motor. The F version will appear not sooner than 2018 and should have 612 horsepower V8.
All the information about upcoming supercar is coming strictly from insiders. We don’t have an official confirmation from Lexus. Traditionally Lexus refuses to comment on its future products. Even the recent official information about copyrighting LC 500 nameplate doesn’t get any decent comments from the Japanese automaker. So no usual press release below.
